Grissini from Piedmont plain or with olives, 140g

The story goes that at the end of the 17th century, Duke Victor Amédée II, future 1st king of the House of Savoy, was in fragile health when he was a child. He could not tolerate the bread of the time, which was little and badly baked. His doctor then ordered the production of a very fine bread, very cooked, in order to eliminate all the bacteria. The future king fed on it and recovered his health. The grissini was born!


Plain torinesi or parmesan and poppy seeds, 120g

The Torinesi are even finer grissini. This famous Turinese bread that Napoleon appreciated and called "the little stick of Turin" was not long in conquering the whole world by becoming the bread of Kings and the king of breads!


Apulian tarallini, with fennel or multi-grain, 170g

Legend has it that taralli were born one evening when a mother, who had little to give her children, created small circles of dough by mixing flour, oil, a little of salt and white wine, which she baked for the family's delight.


Chilli or oregano crostini, 150g

Crostini has been around since the Middle Ages. As at the time there was no plate, the food was placed on slices of stale bread which were grilled beforehand, then they were dipped in cooking juices or wine to soften them and, finally, vegetables, meat, fish were placed there...
